Celebrate the Holidays & Small Business Saturday by gifting yourself or a cherished one with a gift certificate to Integrative Living.  Private sessions are offered. The following is a list of the public classes for the Winter 2017 season at the GoggleWorks in room 536.

-All classes have an extra day added to the schedule for possible snow.

-Payment in full reserves your class. Classes are small group.

INTRODUCTION TO MEDITATION: Tuesdays-January 10th-March 7th (8 weeks),  5:30-6-30PM,  $90. Experience different forms of meditation with the goal of creating a meditation practice that suits your individual needs.

MINDFUL PRACTICES: Tuesdays-January 10th-February 14th (6 weeks), 7-8PM,  $80. Mindfulness has many health benefits.  Practice tools to slow down and be present in the moment. Experience ways to bring these into daily life such as mindful walking. Also useful in stress and pain management.

BREATHING, HEALTH & THE MIND: Tuesdays-February 21st-February 28th (6weeks), 7-8PM, $80. Experience ways to control the breath that will relax or energize. These techniques are useful in relaxation and can be used in everyday life when under stress. If you have a meditation, prayer or other contemplative practice breathing techniques can help to bring the mind to a more quiet place-stillness.

FINDING MY WAY BACK TO ME:  Wednesdays, January 11-March 8th (8weeks), 6:30-7:30, $120. Sometimes in living life we become so busy we can get lost along the way.  In this workshop we pause, reflect, rediscover what really matters,….  Coaching techniques from Duke Integrative Medicine combined with wellness tools to help bring us back to who we are in a relaxed setting.

JOURNALING & CREATIVITY: Mondays-January 9th-February 20th (8 weeks), 5:30-6:30PM, $120. Journaling is an enjoyable way to reflect, reconnect and more.  We experience different journaling techniques in a playful creative way.  Bring a journal, but be open to different ways to keep journals.  You may want several by the end of the class.

CARDIAC & CANCER YOGA THERAPY: Mondays-January 9th-February 20th (8 weeks), 7-8PM $120. These yoga sessions are very gentle and based on the protocol from the Dean Ornish program. Breathing, relaxation and meditation is involved.  Chairs are used.  Contact me for more information.
