Before I spend money on a service I ask about the service providers credentials. For example, does the yoga instructor have a certificate, were they trained at a gym (generally two days of training) or a 200 hour program. If it was a two hundred hour program was it on the weekends over time or was it immersion (did they live at a location for a month studying Yoga). What is the name of the school they trained at and then I look up the school. Do they have additional trainings/ certifications? 500 hour? I may also ask to see the certificates. Also, if someone says they have a doctorate I ask them in what and from what university. I may ask to see the degree. Generally a doctorate takes 6 years of study (after a masters degree and an undergraduate degree) and currently costs about $90,000. I research the university. If it is not a known source or a program that is not reflective or an acceptable credentialed doctoral program, I am hesitant.
Investigate where you are spending your money. You may be very surprised what you find… Many services are not regulated therefore some people can say anything and do. I prefer to spend my time and money on providers that have invested in themselves because they believe in themselves and their service. I want a quality service/product and that is what I pay for, just a thought. Keep Yourself Sacred!
