Knitting As A Meditative Practice

It can be difficult to sit for a long meditation.  Knitting is an excellent practice with calming benefits.  If you already know how to knit, creating a simple project can be calming to you and those around.  The rhythm of the knitting has a calming effect like having a kitten or puppy fall asleep on your lap.  Try knitting a simple scarf the next time you are waiting in an office and observe!
