Sometimes it can be difficult to get enough protein during the day. A modification I use is that I substitute hummus for mayonnaise. I do make my own hummus, which means I can use different beans and flavors to taste. If I make a sandwich or a wrap I use hummus, when I make vegetable lasagna I add a layer of hummus, its a tasty substitute in potato salad, pizza made with hummus-YUM. Hummus is made with beans, which adds protein. Beans are beneficial for heart health. I am not a vegetarian, but eating like one and adding lean animal proteins can help when attempting to get enough protein in my day. Keep Yourself Sacred!
